NSB arrests 8 criminals on transporting drugs – 1 dead.

KHON KAEN: Narcotics Suppression Bureau’s officers on Tuesday arrested 8 criminals at Baan Bor train station, on the transporting drugs to Chieng Mai, a criminal got shot from fighting to death.

Officers charged the train which arrive Baan Bor station at 3 pm on Tuesday due to the order of NSB’s head officer Prathom Deeprom.  

“We have got information about the transporting a large amount of drugs worth 10 million baht from Khon Kaen to Chieng Mai from our spy, so we planned to charge them at Baan Bor station which is good location far away from villages.” Prathom said.

There were 9 criminals on the plan to transport 10 million bath drugs included morphine, heroin, ecstasy and cocaine for a foreigner entrepreneur. Each criminal will get pay 15,000 baht if they could get drugs to the destination.

One of criminals tried to escape and use a gun to fight the officers by shooting, but his gun didn’t work. Immediately, officers decided to shoot him for the safety. The criminal passed away on the way to hospital.

Tonmai Tamrongkarn, an officer in the plan told an exciting situation “The criminal was trying to jump out the train by the window, he saw the officers who were on the other side and tried to shoot them. Lucky us that his gun didn’t work, so all of our officers were safe,”

The criminals was took to “Baan Din” prison in Khon Kaen for temporally detain before taking down to Bangkok for an investigation at NSB to find out the foreigner entrepreneur.

“We will do our best to eliminate drugs in Thailand, and those people who involved in this association will be arrested soon. Also, they will get appropriate punishment,” Prathom said.
